Ph.D. Candidate
Mary R. Campbell is a PhD student of Comparative Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Pennsylvania. She is primarily interested in contemporary Anglophone and Hispanophone narratives across media, with a special emphasis on expressions of memory and trauma in multimodal literature. Her proposed plan of study explores the ways in which intermediality defies habitual understanding of representation and its limits in literary studies.
