Anat’s research centers on non-humanist ethics in human rights documentaries drawing on various interest fields from Documentary Studies, Visual Studies, Continental Philosophy and Political Theory, Global Studies, Race Theory, and Environmental Humanities. Her research has been supported by The Arthur M. Daemmrich and Alfred Guenther Memorial Prize for outstanding achievement in German and Comparative Literature (2022), and The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation Student Grant Award (2021). Anat holds an MFA degree and an MA degree from The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
