Lynn Festa, Rutgers U and Comp Lit grad, wins MLA Lowell Prize

The MLA 2020 Publication Prize for the 51st Annual James Russell Lowell Prize: For an outstanding literary or linguistic study by a member of the association: Lynn Festa, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, for Fiction without Humanity: Person, Animal, Thing in Early Enlightenment Literature and Culture (Univ. of Pennsylvania Press, 2019).

The MLA 2019 50th James Russell Lowell Prize was awarded to  Jonathan P. Eburne, of Pennsylvania State University, for his book Outsider Theory: Intellectual Histories of Unorthodox Ideas, published by the University of Minnesota Press.  Jonathan is also a Comp Lit graduate.
