Liz's article "Trans* Poetics in Translation: Desire and Feminist Capacity in the Work of Susy Shock" is now out from TSQ: Transgender Studies Quarterly. This project developed from a seminar paper they wrote for Jorge Sánchez Cruz back in 2021, and is an early attempt at thinking through trans* poetics in relation to feminist theory and activism while attending to the specificity of how these function in distinct geopolitical spaces in the Global South.
