Anirudh Karnick, Ph.D., Comparative Literature and Literary Theory Program, won the inaugural Mahakavi Gulab Khandelwal Smriti Scholarship (2019), housed in the Institute of South Asian Studies at UC-Berkeley. It is awarded in support of research in Hindi literature to students working at an accredited institution in the US, Canada, or Europe. Details may be found here.
